Throughout my adolescent years (which I'm still going through) I've gone used numerous products with the hopes that one would give me the clear skin I'd always longed for. I've never been the type of person to get excessive acne all over my face, however I am the type to get one or two here and there that refuse to go away no matter what I do.
Primarily around 14 or 15 is when I started to get bumps and such on my face and just like clockwork, whenever it was that time of the month my skin would break out and ultimately leave me with marks that would take months to fade away.
Brands such as Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, Ambi, and plenty others all make promises of clear and/or radiant skin. However those promises never came through for me. Although Neutrogena did manage to tone my break outs down a bit, after a while the results weren't all that great. Recently, after reading some reviews (I read reviews on almost everything I buy before I buy it) and assessing the brands promises I decided to try Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser.
It's been a little less than a year now and I must say this is the best my skin has looked since I hit puberty! No constant pimples, rarely will one pop up and if it does know it is because I'm overwhelmingly stressed out and have been eating a ridiculous amount of junk food. But most importantly my skin looks and feels great! Every few days when I feel it necessary I add either some brown sugar or some baking soda to exfoliate my face and the glow I get is radiant. For about $10 I have to say I think it's well worth it.
